A Card from Great Britain

Once upon a time on Christmas Eve my door was knocked and I saw a postman there. He delivered to me a very beautiful holiday photo card with winter landscape from Great Britain. It was very strange, because I didn't remember that there lives one of my friends. First I thought that postman brought this card to the wrong door and may be it was sent to one of my neighbor. But then all doubts were assuaged, because there was my name, but it wasn't signed. It is very impolite not to sign postcards. Actually there weren't any friends of mine in Great Britain. It was very beautiful. So I had a very difficult problem, to determine a sender. I opened my notebook and began to examine all names from cover to cover. There was sisters Schweiger from German, Edward from Alaska, Sebastian from Canada, even Alex from Poland, but there was nobody from Great Britain. And this fact very disappointed me. May be I missed or forgot that one of my acquaintances moved there. I didn't sleep several nights, thinking about who it may be, asked several friends who could go to Great Britain in past time. But anybody couldn't give me the answer. And I had the only chance to know the sender - ask him.

By the reason of my politeness I decided to send the answer with photo of our country and thanks and congratulated him with holidays too. And I didn't know even to whom I sent it. And in a gentle way I asked him who he is. I waited hid answer with a big interest.

After several days later I received a call. It was my angry mother. She was very displeased with me, because I didn't recognize that this holiday photo card was sent by her. Then I remembered that she went here more than half a year. I could nothing to say. Just I couldn't stop but laughing and laughing…..
